Our team
Daniel is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois with 15 years of experience in community mental health and private practice. He has a Master of Clinical Psychology from Chicago School of Professional Psychology and is expected to graduate with a Doctor of Psychology in 2027. Following his Air Force career, he completed his Bachelor of Science and graduate degree, and set out working at Rosecrans in Champaign, IL. Following several years of community mental health and emergency clinical work, Daniel entered private practice as a contractor. In 2017, he partnered to found Healthy Strides, PLLC in Macon County, IL.
Between 2017 and 2025, the owners of Healthy Strides grew from a two-person clinical team, to a thriving multi-specialty clinic with three offices covering 5 counties. When he is not in practice, Daniel teaches undergraduate psychology and sociology at Parkland College and Richland Community College. He fostered two superb counseling interns using a collaborative and varied approach. Daniel has opened up two clinicians and one private practice to new techniques and diagnostic testing. He helped one clinician with the logistical and legal challenges needed to open and expand their private practice.
